I'd really like to know if anyone's rooted with 2.2 on the android...i'd pay money for the final step by step instructions with 2.2. My big goal is to get the Sprint un-needed apps off, get the ability to put apps on the sd card, and hope for better performance!

Locoboy - Super One Click Rooted you? COOL -

Just download the Wireless tether App from the Market.

25 - Once rooted you just need to find a ROM - check SDAdevelopers.com

So SuperOneClick DOES work on the Intercept? Cool!
And yeah, I've read on SDX that there is a way to tether.

I use PDANet from June Fabrics Technology. It's $15.95, but when I can get my PC to recognize the phone, the app works great.
