I only know what I've read, but the developer commented on some forum that it is more of a proof of concept at this point. I take that to mean that there are lots of bugs that will need to be worked out. That may be why they only show the boot sequence in the video and won't even show the desktop.

I wouldn't expect this to be released for a while.
