I did a search and found something similar, however, the thread turned into a debate why attachments are bad, blah blah blah.

I emailed myself a jpg attachment and was able to download and view the pic. However, I do not know how to save the pic to use it as wallpaper.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention that I also tried going to Google Docs and saved the image there. I then sent myself a link to view pic. When I click on the link I get a white screen and it stays that for awhile.

I believe all attachments (once downloaded) are saved to a default location on the SD card (.Mail I think)

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I am currently not using a SD card. I just received the phone a couple of days ago and have not had the chance to go buy one.

There is a memory card with 2GB of storage coming with the Hero, so you should have one...
