Root scanning for roms ???

    Ok I just a update to rom manager and now I can scan a QR code and pow. Well I have not seen to many codes to scan. Neat I wonder if it will backup and wipe auto if needed if it knows changing rom. Has anybody tried?:thinking:

    I tried it yesterday and it works just like downloading it would. Not sure the link to the QR code i used though koush has posted it in irc

    I wonder if it will work for ROMs not already tied to ROM Manager (betas, new developers, other installable zips and updates), allowing for a wider selection.

    Since you dont have to rename when usingg ROM Manager, I don't see why it shouldn't.

    I dont mind buying a domain, and setting everything up, if we could possibly have a centralized spot to host all these QR Codes / roms, or whatever. I just dont know if I have the time to update regularly. A collaboration by all the ROM makers / themers to allow one place to host, or whatever would be great.

    Let me know, I can get it started, and we can go from there....

    Instead of doing all this work won't it be as easy just to list it in RM and download it. Would be cool if ...... really do not see a need. Just list the themes under the name it is meant for or the dev that made it.

    Not all ROMs are in the ROM Manager though.... Either way, doesn't matter to me.
