alright so I have heard that the epic uses 1 gb of NAND memory. I know this is faster then the regular cards. Here is my question.

Does the epic have NAND memory? If it does I heard that we can't store apps to the external card until 2.2 comes out. So aren't we going to have very limited space for apps until then?

No because apps require very little space. with the available memory you could install 100-150 apps.

What is NAND flash memory? Definition from WhatIs.com

Yes the Epic does have NAND memory & you should be fine until 2.2 drops. The apps are pretty small. A co-worker of mine had about 80 apps on his EvO (prior to their 2.2 update) & hasn't come close to reaching the limit.

just the Epic thus far. the Fascinate might have it as well since the internal mem is 2gigs. you want NAND though. this is the reason why the Vibrant and Captivate lag.

From what I know, other galaxy S phones use regular sd cards for their internal memory.
