I remember someone posting a link where a Desire was scratched with a stanley blade (it had a broken screen) and it showed how tough the screens are.

I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone remember the link/thread?

don't know if I believe that video tbh. wouldn't like to attempt scratching the Desire screen with a blade.

I haven't seen the video but I cant see a mobile phone screen being unscratchable if using a stanley knife.

Yup, mine has evidence of light scratches from being in my pocket with no keys or coins!

So I doubt it'd come out unscathed against a stanley blade.

It's amazing how often that can happen, and has with me with previous phones. Take it you will be getting a screen protector then?

Yes, it was whilst waiting for Play to get the HTC ones in stock @ launch.

Also have a PDair leather book case too.
