Root [Verizon] Screen broken, is there any way to get read txt messages

Hi guys, dropped my phone today, and of all days it's my birthday, I can't receive or answer phone calls or txt MSG, my phone still connects to my computer and I am still able to move files over but is there any other way I can see what's going on....like i said my screen is dead....for now......thanks and I appreciate any help you can give me

Unfortunately I don't have lies on my phone...is there any other way

I use this app. I backup my messaging about once a week. Requires a Google Gmail account to work. You can sign onto your google dashboard & go to all conversations & all the messages that you backed up with the app will be there.
