Firstly, thanks to all the contributors on here - especially the SGS users
OK So, I've had my SGS for a few days and everything's sweet except my screen time out:
Idle screen > lock screen > screen off doesn't want to play anymore!
In main settings screen time out is set to 30 secs. It worked fine first couple of days now nothing. Dims slightly and doesn't even go to the lock screen now.
I have installed handcent mail client though but, notification settings > popup setting > Screen timeout is 10secs for the popup.
The only way I can get the screen to go off now is a soft press on the power button.
Another soft press on the power button then brings up the lock screen, which stays on.
I'm thinking its conflicting app setting -one thing for sure though - it's driving my mad!!
