has anyone used this? SD Card Speed Tester - Android
its a speed benchmark test for sd cards.

think it could be a pretty cool app if it is accurate. i always see alot of people bragging about getting a class 4 or class 6 speed sd card but is usually a lexar or some other little known name, when i read benchmarks reporting that sandisk class 2 outperforms the lexar class 6 in acess times. class only refers to the minimal speed but makes no claim to the average or top speed. now lexar did make a difference in time with files 5gb and above. its kinda like trying to compare contrast ratios on hdtvs. people just assume higher numbers mean faster in a standardized manner in relevance to one another which is not the case.

since i found little info on the web i thought a bit of real world testing from the users on this site would be better. it would be cool to see the different read/write times from the different manufactures to see how they measure up againt one another. let us know your card manufacture, size and class to see how they compare.

for the record i am stuck with a 2gb and thinking about upgrading to a 16gb and deciding between a sandisk class 2 and kingston class 4 or 6 and would like to see if this is really the case and worth spending the extra money or not.
