I'm backing it all up at this moment. Once I'm done, I'll go on from there.
(Update!) I backed it all up, formatted with my laptop, copied the data all back with the same laptop, pulled the battery, installed the card, and turned the phone on.
The laptop reads the card just fine.
Within minutes it was doing it again! What a piece of junk! Why won't they or can't they make electronics as durable as my old Sony Discman from the 90's that still works fine?
I guess it's replacement #3, first two were for the headphone jack. This ties my former RAZR Maxx for number of replacements.
I'm tempted to go for another brand next time. I don't want to give up SD support but my Rezound had no issues (other than crappy battery life) for the 5 months I had it. The ONE is sounding good. This will be 6 months around thanksgiving, and I only got the 2nd replacement a week ago, which is the culprit.
Sometimes technology makes me wonder why I bother. If I didn't have a need for a smart phone, I would sell it and go back to a dumb one.
I ordered my replacement (#3) today within hours of the text from Verizon telling me that my defective device had been received.
