sd card ?

Hi , i've recently got a galaxy ace 2 and i bought an 8 gb sd card for it so i could have plenty of storage for music etc , anyway i loaded around 50 songs onto the sd card on my laptop but when i put the card in the phone it will not play the songs although it has them listed . I keep getting a message "not enough memory ....delete some data" or something like that when i click on a track .
Any help much appreciated as i'm not much of a tech head .

have you checked the usb memory? for some reason this tends to fill up hence you get these messages saying memory full etc.

After a Micro SD card is inserted, would it be required to move any items from the USB storage to the SD card and by doing so would it help the phones performance?
