SD cards - "preload pictures" advice?

OK. Getting realy close. I have a new 16gb class 6 card for the Evo. I have lots of pics to transfer over.
Should I just use typical explorer and transfer the pics over under subfolder - "Personal" under Folder "Pictures"?
Or there is better way due to android...

That'll work just fine. You can toss 'em into whatever folder structure you like - the gallery will scan the card and find everything except for pics within "system" folders preceded by a period.

Example: ".hideFolder"
