Help SE Sync

How have SE managed to make such a simple task turn into a complete shambles? My experience of SE sync are:-

1. Being told that it doesnt work over Wifi? Why the hell not?!
2. It adding mutltiple entries for the same number in the same contact
3. It adding the same contact multiple times
4. Not being able to log in
5. Now not being able to make it stop syncing (or trying!) even when I have deleted the bloody account!!!!!!!

I have never been more disappointed with ANY product I have ever bought. In Halfords today and had to end the phone call because I couldnt hear who I was talking to. Pathetic.

Don't trust Sony's "Backup & Restore" either.

Don't despair though, some devs at XDA are working on a new ROM without all the SE crap so that we can all experience the true Android experience.
