I'd hold off on placing an order or at least call Amazon to confirm that in act is the active case because the photos are definitely of the rugged line...

Seems odd that Amazon would have it and Seidio still doesn't ??..and further more it still says "under development" not even "coming soon"....AND the pics def look like the Rugged

    Hello,

Thank you for your interest! The photos are correct for the Innocase Active X. If you look at it carefully, you will notice that the camera and the headphone jack are not covered compared to the Innocase Rugged.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or comments!

    Regards,

So wait, this is in fact the Active case + Rugged Holster Combo!?

Note: If this is the case, how is Amazon able to offer it before Seidio!? Any ETA on when other colors will be available or when the case will be "officially" released? And if this is the case, at $25 for potentially what is the combo, is a a f***ing steal!

    Hello,

The item pictured is the Innocase Active X and not the Innocase Rugged Combo, that is sold separately. This is just the case by itself and will not include the holster. Pictures will be updated to reflect the change.

Innocase Active X will not be sold on Seidio Online, only the Innocase Active, which is currently under development.

    Regards,

Pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference between the Innocase Active X and the Innocase Active? I mean, the way your statement reads, is that there are two different versions for the Droid X (though I suspect you are referring to a particular case and a particular line separately).

So just to confirm, Amazon is currently selling the Innocase Active for the Motorola Droid X and that Seidio will not be offering this particular line of cases directly?

    Hello,

There are indeed 2 type of Innocase Active for Droid X. The Innocase Active (Under Development on Seidio) and Innocase Active X (Available on Amazon) differ only in design. The protection level and the finish is the same.

    Regards,

We are still working on the Innocase Active that will be sold on our online store and are hoping to have it available soon as well!

Will you offer a holster to fit the Active X at some point?

Ah, I see, confusing to say the least. So they are essentially the same case, just different designs? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to get my facts straight before I make a purchase.

This is the case I'm waiting on. Is this the Active X or just the Active? I'm guessing it's the latter since this one is still under development.

Seidio has really gone down hill. The Innocase for the X is garbage and doesn't stay together. Now Amazon is selling a Seidio case that's not available on seidioonline.com, but this is a completely different case than the Active because it is the Seidio Active X for the Droid X, not the Seidio Active for the Droid X.

Maybe it's just me, but this is pretty confusing and quite frankly, dumb. Sorry, won't be purchasing.

    Hello All,

Here are some pictures showing the difference between Innocase Active and Active X for the Motorola Droid X:

The two cases offers options for you choose and have the same protection level.

Awesome. I personally prefer the Active X version as I believe that the skeletal brace will provide a better grip for me while trekking through NY. Cannot wait to get it!!!

And really appreciate the responsiveness from Seidio!

While we're on the subject, any idea of when the Innocase Active will be available?
