    I like this case too and am considering buying it however based on the pictures it looks like you have to remove it from the case to charge it. Thoughts?

    Had this case for the droid one, you do not have to remove it from the case to charge it. Unless your using a dock to charge with.

    They are very nice, a bit bulky but still nice,

    I loved the OtterBox case for my Storm I so I'm going to give them a little more time to get their product out the door. Hockey season is right around the corner and that's when my phone really needs protection.

    2 months after release and it still says "Coming Soon." I wanted that case but I've went elsewhere.

    Although I tried to wait for the Active as well, and went elsewhere to get a case. Once the Active version does come out, I may still buy it when it comes because it is the best looking one I've seen still(at least if it lives up to the images).
    Specifically the green one, as long as its dark and not all bright/neon. :p

    I've never had an otterbox. Is this an otterbox knockoff, competitor or wannabe? Is it good quality?

    Seidio's cases are high quality. I have owned cases from both companies and have been more than pleased with each of them. Seidio has a much wider selection.

    Otterbox = Lexus/Audi/BMW quality
    Seidio = Acura/Infiniti (maybe Honda/Nissan) quality

    Both are good and a fair step above the standard old stuff out there but there is a noticeable step up in quality of the Otterbox stuff in my opinion.

    I've owned both in the past - and once the Defender is released for the X will again. Just not sure how gigantic my X will be with a Defender - I know my old iPhone 3gs in its' Defender was pretty much as big as my X was naked - so the idea of an X with a Defender sort of concerns me. When holstered I'm afraid it may be like wearing a brick on my hip.

    I currently have an Innocase on my X - and my Rugged is on it's way.

    I just ordered the rugged add on kit from them today aswell.

    Also FWIW the rugged add on kit IS COMPATIBLE with the platinum series case being sold at BB. I discussed this with a rep at Seidio to before i placed my order.

    I received my rugged add on kit today and so far so good. This is a very high quality case but i have noticed a couple of design flaws. Such as the screen being to "recessed" to use the phyiscal hard buttons and some of the lower keyboard keys when in landscape mode. Like i said i just received it today so im going to give it a few days before i make the decison.

    I'd like to see some pictures if any of you could. The ones on the site don't give much perspective on what it'll really look like---like most things online. :)
