I had the same problem as you when i first got my innocase. What you need to do is pinch the sides of the top half and on the bottom half, push down right in the middle by the seam. This will allow the two halves to unlatch from eachother.

They are very hard to take off, thats what i love most about it. I know if i drop it its not going to split open like a verizon one and possibly scratch it up. What i do to take it off is just take one hand on the top and the other on the bottom piece and twist the phone. It comes right off easily for me if i crack the phone thats what insurance is for
