    So before i got the droid eris i could send picures from the computer to my verizon phone with vzw pics but now that i have the droid eris i cant do that. so does anyone know how to send pictures from the computer to the droid eris?

    Mount the eris to the PC, and just copy the pics to the DCIM folder on your sdcard.

    it doesnt work that way. because you cant download them.

    You can also try an app called something like "Blackmoon Attach Save Lite". It works fine for me and lets me easily d/l pictures from email.

    You can send it as an MMS.

    Email an attached picture to "8175551212@vzwpix.com" but replace that example number with your own ofcourse :)

    idk i tried and it let me download them but when i try to view them it wont let me

    thats what i tried but because the eris doesnt support vzw. my phone wont recive the text.

    ###@vzwpics.com works regardless. Its a carrier level service. It doesn't matter what phone you have, just as long as it can receive MMS messages.

    im not postive about that...because like other verizon phones that arrent by google or something have vz cast...and the eris doesnt...the eris doesnt support verizon powered services.

    I've used Dropbox for APKs... I wonder how well it works for pictures?

    VZ Cast has nothing to do with it. Its done through their messaging servers. Every phone that can text message has an email address attached to it.

    The poster named LED has the right idea, just mount with the USB cable and you save the bandwidth. Why pay VZW$$ to deliver the pictures when you can copy 'em for no charge?
