Since I joined this forum, I have seen a lot of mixed reviews about the Sense UI. I'm sure this has been posted before but I felt compelled to start this thread. I honestly love sense. This is my first smartphone, I came from an lg dare. I would consider myself tech savy. I have had an ipod touch for a while, just about a year. After owning my ipod for about a week i had to jailbreak it because stock apple OS sucks. When it comes to android and sense, I couldn't be happier. I just felt the need to give sense some props. I love everything about it.

Just preference. I don't think by any means Sense is bad at all or has any major flaws (besides slowing down release of android updates) .. But I still find myself using ADW for that extra level of being able to customize to what I want.

ADW is absolutely awesome! Alas I cannot use it because I love Sense and the Sense widgets beyond comprehension <3

Sense is great! I used it for 6 months now I use LP. I just wanted something fresh and new. ADW and LP like the previous poster says is more customizable and gives a "sense" :p of variation/uniqueness/a different look. If there is a con to sense it would have to be how long it takes for HTC or better yet Verizon to come out with software updates due to it's presence.

I get bored easily. I switch between Sense/ADW/SlideScreen every week it seems. All great and have their advantages.

    Big+1!

I love Sense! I have watched review videos of other UI's and I still think Sense is better.

By no means am I baggin on people who talk down Sense UI, however I tend to read between the lines a bit when observing what people say about it whether Pro or Con.

My personal observation though, is that many people tend to talk it down to convince themselves that they're not missing anything when they root their devices or change to a different UI that doesn't support the Sense UI widgets. If that is indeed what they're doing... more power to em... there's no harm in it.

But if you look closely, those who talk down the Sense UI spend substantial effort to find 3rd party widgets/apps that closely resemble Sense UI.

I have a Moto Droid and plan on switching to a Droid Incredible, simply because I love Sense, and the HTC form factor. It makes Android all that much better in my eyes.

I would love launcher pro if you had the ability to use sense widgets. I emailed the Dev but he said if you want sense widgets don't use launcher pro. It was nice having a landscape mode but its much better having my widgets.
