Just about everyone here is going to run from a thread where the words "novie" and "root" are in the same post. My best suggestion is to research, research, research on how to root devices and also how to unroot devices.

Far too many times we see people come to this phone and make post with a million "!!!!!!" about how they bricked there device due to a bad root and need help. Just about every time it's someone who just dove right into it without researching it and got way in over their heads. There are always friendly people on this board to help those people out but most of the time they can only do so much. So when you ask us to walk you through the entire process it throws up a red flag.

I am also going to suggest that you search Android, Windows Phone, and Windows Mobile Development News, Information, and Howtos - XDA Developers for your device and see if anyone has rooted it. It looks like you are running a pretty generic chinese tablet so your specs are only going to allow you to do so much.

    Best of luck.

    Welcome to the forums, viperjon!
Unfortunately, with the amount of tablets out there, we don't have a forum for every one. There is some data on XDA about this tablet:
If there's any other help you need, let us know. :)

I would highly recommend the Nexus 7, it really is a gem for the price. Also if you do get a new tablet then I would practice throwing roms on your older tablet, this will give you some experience in flashing roms without too much fear of bricking it. Good luck viper and welcome!

    What Mostly said!
With Android being open source and a free OS any manufacturer can use it and produce cheap products.
If the N7 is out of reach price wise for you to take a look at some used tablets from reputable brands like Samsung, HTC, Motorola, Asus or Acer to name a few.
