Service Centre Issues

    I own LG GW620...

    Few days before i noticed that the backlight of the left softkey(home button) is not glowing and my camera is showing a black dot on the screen...


    So i went to the service centre and after the half an hour checkup of my fone they said that they need to format my fone....i was like WTF??

    I asked them and said that this is the hardware prob and even i myself formatted the fone but they are saying that.............

    So, what shud i do??

    Sadly, let them reformat. It will be the quickest way to a resolution. Most service center tech's have a very rigid check list and it could mean their jobs if they deviated from it without a supervisor's permission. Once they see the that the reformat didn't fix the problem, then they can escalate to hardware replacement. Just make sure your phone is backed up so you don't lose too much.

    BTW do u guys think thats formatting the fone could solve that problem??

    Yes, that would be my first course of action.. but keeping in mind that it could be a hardware issue, necessitating replacement of the device.
