Who uses this? I installed it and did not create any profiles. I have the main set to just over 1ghz and min at 245mhz. Not sure if i'm set correctly or recommended.
I believe RyanB was right in that you'll probably get more specific answers here.
That said, the general consensus in the forums seems to be that you should set an overheat profile (battery > a temperature you choose) with a slower clock speed to allow the phone to cool. And a sleep profile with much slower clock speed settings, to conserve battery when you're not actively using the device.
Right. Where things get "dicey" is with all the different chips. Each chip has different capabilities and thresholds, so I could easily tell you what the Droid can typically handle, buti don't have the first clue about Evos. I'd wager lots of people are unfamiliar with phones they don't own.
