Sheeesh latley my nexus battery, barley can hold up a 8 hr shift at work..

    wtf is going on???

Ive been running task killer, killing every single app thats running in the background..

I got juice defender running to help preserve battery life, and its stilling dying out right around 8 hrs..

and the thing is i dont even talk on it, i just surf the web, and and look through my gallery of pics to pass time at work...

This shit keep happening i might just have to revert back to my trusty blackberry..

I can charge that sucker for one night, and itll last me at least two days...

There's your problem .... Android Task Killers Explained: What They Do and Why You Shouldn't Use Them

I can easily get a full day plus out of a charge with moderate use including phone calls, browsing and occasional GPS. WiFi is on most of the time, because i have access at work and home.

Yes but probably on your Blackberry you didn't surf much cause it was too painful an experience. If you use smartphones like the Nexus, you have to charge them when you can. The kind of battery in them likes to be topped up. Get a cradle for at work and then when you're actually working, your phone will recharge so when you stop working, it will be ready.

The old style of charge at night, good all day is over. It's not a phone, it's a computer.

How old is the battery? How many widgets are you running?

I would uninstall any task killer you have, also uninstall juice defender, they both just waste enegry. Get out of the habit of constantly checking what apps are running in the background and killing them. Download system panel and monitor which app may be running in the background while your phone is at rest/running.

Also if you are talking about any other blackberry other then a storm with a tiny screen, slow processor, and terrible browser then good luck with that.

What's your usage? How long do you use certain apps? What's your brightness setup? How often do you synch, every hour, manually or every minute? You need to post that kind of information when talking about bad battery life. If you don't use your phone in the 8 hours and it die, then you have an issue. If you surf for a couple of hours, streaming music for like another couple of hours, use navigation...yeah I can see how it'll last only 8 hours.
