So I figured I would start a poll for those who want nothing but the facts about the Verizon Dinc shipping issue. Please don't vote unless your ship by date was after 6/21, so that we have accurate data for those still waiting, thanks!

Also feel free to add the actual dates below.

Where's the option for people who had a shipping date 6/26 or later and it delivered on time?

Wait a minute. You had a ship date of 6/26 or later and you actually received a device? I had a ship date of 6/28 (order placed 6/7) and I called last night for a tracking number and was informed that it could take up to 10 days longer to ship now. WTF? Am I missing something?

I didn't think it was possible, NO one in the main shipping thread has gotten theirs on time after 6/26 unless I missed a post

My ship date was 6/27 and my arrival date was 6/29 and my device came today just as promised.

Mine was supposed to be shipped on the 24th. I still have not received it. I called Verizon they don't know anything and have no tracking number.

Has there been any noise regarding Verizon taking any action to smooth this blunder over with their customers? You know, besides that, "We understand your frustration and we are sorry." I think I might lose my mind if I hear another customer service rep regurgitate that line to me.

Well congrats, sorry I don't have an option for you on the poll, I honestly didn't think Verizon was on time for anyone after friday.

Are you guys allowed to cancel your orders? I went to Best Buy and ordered mine and had it a day later.

Did you still get the 100$ mail in rebate or is that just a Verizon thing

When you order from Best Buy, you just pay $199 up front, you don't pay $299 and wait for $100 in the mail.

Gotcha. I guess I'm kinda stuck then because I've been charged the new-every-two price of $219.00 and the rebate would knock me down another $100 (per customer service lady). I guess I can wait 10 more days for another $100 off :/

If you buy it from Best Buy you can get the new every 2 discount also. They will price match whatever the VZW website says. They will have you login to the site and then match whatever price it says which includes the $100 rebate and $100 new every 2. So it should be $99.

Just a heads up for anyone else wondering. I went to Best Buy and they informed me that they do not match mail in rebates. I guess I should of have just checked their FAQ section.
    BestBuy.com Help

How do you handle a price match if the competitor's price includes a rebate or other promotional offer?
The competitor's net purchase price is calculated by deducting instant discounts taken at the register such as instant rebates. Mail-in rebates and other deferred savings are not deducted from the competitor's purchase price.
