    Could you be a bud and test the reception to see if it is as good as your current phone- assuming it is a Verizon phone, of course. Some reviews point out the recpetion of other phones including Droid are much better than Incredible. I am ordering a Droid and Inc from our corporate account, but only to test which has the best signal and return the the weaker one. My hope is the Inc is at least the same as Droid.

    Your testing would save me the wait time and wonder :)

    trust me, I tried calling like 10 different times and even tried going through tech support. No luck, they blocked this bad boy. I have one more option, a personal VZW contact who I have been talking with regarding the Incredible. Maybe she can help me out, but she hasnt picked up her line. I will keep you posted when I get through.

    When I talked to a representative on the phone about pre-ordering the Droid INC. (this was probably 7:30pm+ est.). I basically was put on a list and she would call me the day before it shipped (4/28) to process my order. I wasn't billed anything, she said I will pay when she calls me back. She also gave me her personal email at VZW with all her contact info if i feel the need to change something or need help with anything.

    I have an Alltel plan so I guess since I couldn't order directly through the website because of plan issues. This is how they do it for Alltel customers.

    I actually came here LOOKING for early ship info. I pre-ordered online, but spoke with customer service about a few unrelated things. When I asked about shipping, she indicated that it might well arrive before 4/29. It sounded like she kind of slipped up, but tried to cover it by saying they were setting expectations with the 4/29 date. Obviously no one is going to complain if a phone arrives early. And she pointed out there was no guarantee it would arrive before then...but, I left with an impression that it was very possible.

    So, I'm kind of happy to hear things might really be shipping.

    Congrats to all. I didn't even try the phone route. I did go to a BJ's verizon kiosk....was told they have no idea if the kiosk was going to get it on launch, but that the main stores will definitely have info.
    Went to Verizon store near home, person who greets you at door was shocked I knew about it at all and told me to speak to manager. Manager says I have no idea if we will get it. There is no definite dates yet, only rumors. I then told him that you can order online and he just nodded at me like go ahead, but I can't help you.
    Best Buy wouldn't match the NE2 without a manager present so that was a no go. Finally went the pre order online route thru verizon. I know I will have it no later than 29th, but if it comes early I will not complain.

    For those that got shipping notices, were they emailed to you so I know what to look for when it ships.

    Lol man I would have been so pissed. I have had one before too. Glad I called back. Try calling. It was like in the notes they had Incredible but the order number was an Imagio

    Lol thanks buddy. Yeah the second lady pissed in my cheerios lol. Guess I can't be mad though. Just wonder if she had got it right the first time if it would have actually gone through. Guess I will never know. Will just have to wait till next Thursday after work. I knew you exhausted all measures yourself too

    Hi all,

    I'm new here but ive been following the forums - just wanted you to know that i just received my incredible early as well. I placed my order yesterday through Verizon's "worry free guarantee" as a replacement for a Droid Eris that i got about 3 weeks ago. I would post a picture, but im a noob and dont know how!

    If this is true, how are the people, like myself, who placed orders online yesterday suppose to know if their orders were cancelled. I will be PISSED if the 29th comes and no phone shows up at my door step because someone at VZW screwed up!

    I am also affrid to call and ask, thinking they will cancell my order!

    What should I do?


    p.s. - for those who did get the phone, PLEASE test BT voice dialing! :)

    sprecher, did you call up technical support because I am having phone problems and when I called technical support to try and get a replacement as the HTC Incredible, they said they could only send me my phone but either brand new or certified replacement.He said HTC incredible wasnt even in their system yet to choose from since it wasnt released yet to the public.

    I just dialed 611 from my eris and spoke with the first representative that i got... it was very easy... I asked her multiple times if she was sure that the phone was available and she said yes. How do i post a pic from my computer?

    I am an Alltel transplant and I pre ordered mine at Midnight on Sun night via online. I do know that some are having problems with Verizons site right now.... And yes I am keeping my Alltel plan...:D

    Just spoke again to confirm my IMAGIO was cancelled. Said already shipped and I had to refuse and I couldn't order the Incredible which is what I ordered in the first place until I refused and they got it back plus it's not available till 29th. So 649 for an f ing Imagio lol. Now they act like it's my fault. Wow awesome CS.

    I called today and tried to order and they said it wouldn't go through until the 29th so I told them forget it. Wonder who a person could complain to and get something done.
