Root Shoter boot times

Is there a Froyo ROM out there that doesnt have a 10 minute boot time????

OK it is not exactly 10 minutes but my boot times seem to have grown from 2.01 to 2.1 to rooted 2.1 and rooted Froyo.. Plain Vanilla Froyo 1ghz

Once you get past the M logo, how long is your boot time? My red eye goes anywhere from 6-12 times before it starts depending on the rom I'm running.

Not too bad I guess. Anyone else want to chime in with their boot times? The fastest I ever had was BB .2.1 Froyo, but all my apps were on the SD and it just had way too many problems.

Chevy SS 4.0 with Chevy LV 1.0 Kernel boots in 32 seconds on my Droid. Just timed it twice with a stop watch. Time from power button pressed to lock screen. SD card and on-boot app startup takes another 14 seconds, but the lock screen is responsive during that time.

I think that's that's pretty damn fast. It's even faster with a 1.2 kernel.

With Kangerade 1.0 and Chevy ULV 1.0 kernel I get very fast boot times, probably comparable to cggorman. I am flashing Kangerade v1.1 now, I'll time the boot.

We just don't know how good we have it...after suffering through truly endless Blackberry reboot times, I will never complain about a Droid reboot. Because of that maybe I'm too forgiving, but my reboot times (aside from those longer ones after a ROM change) have seemed quite good to me...

Kangerade 1.1 with Jakes 1.2ghz kernal.

30 seconds to shutdown
16 seconds to boot logo
28 seconds to lock screen
