I kept checking my Nexus for the update every 5 minutes, as did my partner - mostly because of me lol(for some reason mine showed up 12 hours before and I wasn't allowed to update until my partner had it lol).
However, my partner was very disappointed with it. The app she uses most doesn't work and nor do a few others after testing. Also, the Amazon Appstore keeps signing out which is irritating, then we found that if we went to play/use one of the games/apps downloaded from Amazon, it then asked us to sign in before we could play it :|. That made my mind up that I was going to downgrade them.
I liked the notification bar system on 4.2, and now I'm on 4.1.2 again, the nag screen is irritating but, not as irritating as having to keep signing in to Amazon. For me and the apps I use, that was the only issue I found, that and I really don't like the new lock screen clock.
I would suggest holding off updating until more apps are updated to work with it. Or at the very least, check around to see if the apps you do use, have been updated/work with it. I know for example the Dice video player has already been updated but, like I say, the Amazon Appstore needs an update and other apps just don't open.
