Help Signature Verification Failure When Rooting Question

Signature verification during rooting is usually related to trying to install a (typically) signed .zip file in stock or custom recovery.

A stock custom recovery requires that the .zip (file being flashed) be signed with the manufacturer's signing keys...failure to do so typically indicates a .zip file that was NOT signed thusly.

A signature verification failure from a flashing operation during a custom recovery either means that signature checking was turned on and the "jarsigner -v" type of check on the .zip file failed or that you have an incomplete (i.e., corrupt) download (would explain the signature verification failure if the signature is based off of an incomplete file).
