Is there any way to make just minor modifications to the stock theme on the Droid without having to install a theme manager? I'm currently content with the stock theme, but would like some small tweaks like adjusting the home icon spacing, to makethem more compact for more real estate, and maybe expand home from 3 to 5 desktops. Is it really necessary to run a theme manager for such minor UI tweaks? I'm new to Android and haven't quite figured out how theme info is stored on the phone, so I apologize for the noob question. I was hoping it would be as easy as just modifying an XML file.
