If you haven't heard yet, Skype is now available for all networks (not Verizon exclusive anymore), but it seems to be having issues with some phones.

I got it (downloaded the huge file) and tried it out, but it wouldn't let me sign in.

Has anyone gotten it to work on the slide?

forgive my ignorance but how do you use it with the 3g slide with the camera/recorder is on the back side?

I realize I'm reviving a dead thread. I have the mytouch slide 3g and it works fine with skype until I put the phone up to my ear. When the prox sensor turns the screen off the audio breaks up and craps out like the processor is going too slow to process the information. Any ideas how to remedy this?
