I am newly rooted running aloysious Rom but when I press ##778 it does nothing but sit there. Is there any way You can change it. I only get 5 rings before voicemail thanks.

This is not something you can change from the phone itself, it would have to be changed in VZW's switch and only if it's a lucent switch IIRC

For Sprint ported roms, an extra # is needed after ##778. Just like Murphy said.

The EPST program that the command links to was probably removed by the maker of the Rom to save space (I know it's been removed in EvilEris).

You can try flashing to a different rom that has it (say Ivan's Official Rom), changing the slot cycle, and then flashing back to Aloysious.

I can't confirm yet if the setting sticks after the wipe/flash, but this is what I did when I discovered it was missing from EEv3 (I was also unsuccessful in just adding back the missing apk file).

Just nandroid backup, flash a normal Eris ROM (Plane Jane, Ivan's Eris_Official, anything like that) and do your ##778 work, setting Slot Cycle Index, or whatever.

Then boot into recovery and do a nand restore of whatever you backed up.

    Your PST settings will stay.

Some ROMs, as said like EvilEris, don't have EPST, and even if you push EPST do it, ##778# doesnt' seem to work.

That's OK. Just do your EPST work in another ROM and nandroid restore.
