Speaking as a clueless noob - albeit one who is jonesing to migrate from their iTouch to something bigger and more open - I am struck by the wimpy resolutions I see so far on Android tablets that are small enough tb carried in a pants pocket.
My iTouch, with a 3.5" screen, is 960x640.
Yet most of the Android pads I see in the 5-7" sizes are only 800x480: a beeeg comedown.
I see something supposedly coming from EAFT in Q3 with a 7" 1024x768 screen - but that's too close to a wash against 900x640 to spend money on.
Is the technology out there to make an Android tablet with, say, a 5 or 7" capacitive screen that has a rez of, say, 1366 x765 (which is what one rumor says the size of Apple's 7" iPad Mini will be)?
I'd like to get out of AppleLockDown mode - especially in the area of WiFi detection - but want significantly more - not less - resolution.
