So I fixed my phone and a refurb is being sent to me...

    Last night my phone gave out during a baseband update and left me with no bars. I was at a beach house so panicing without a computer called Verizon. They said they were sending me a refurb via fed-ex to me. Well today I had access to a computer and managed to fix my phone. So now that I have bars and stuff back...

    Is my plan coverage still under my current phone or have they already switched it to the refurb phone they are sending me? I have 3g and bars and everything, but I don't know if its all costing me cash or not. Please help :(

    I'd recommend calling Verizon. I don't know of too many of their techs on this site. They'd be far more apt to answer you question.

    They won't switch it, you have to activate it yourself.

    best thing to do is call them back and tell them that you have fixed your phone, they'll probably tell you to send the refurb back.
