Soft-Button LEDs not Uniform

So my first droid died on me the other day. I received my refurb today and I've noticed that the LEDs lighting up the soft buttons on the bottom of the phone are not uniform.

The "Menu" button is light up much brighter than the "Back" and "Home" buttons, both of which are only about half lit. The only button that seems appropriately lit is the "Search" button.

Right now I have the LEDs just turned off (thank God for root), but is this something they would replace the phone for? Or am I SOL on this one? (I'm insanely picky about these types of things, I know)

My phone I have from launch day is the SAME way. The search is the best one and home and menu at half with back being dismal! I want that prototype engadget showed with insane led's.

My first phone was fine. And, ironically enough, it came back to life when i turned it in to the tech when he gave me the refurb.

The issue is white led technology. White leds are still expensive and kind of a hack technology (they are a filter applied to a blue led). To get them all the same they have to pay more for hand selected leds.

Mine are the same way, not to worry, doesnt bother me too much.
