(I'm not sure that I'm on the right forum so if not please move me to the right one)
I just got this problem on my phone, the volume of the music is too high for me (not sure if it's because the earphones or because the phone) and i found a very simple solution that I didn't saw that was mentioned on the forums:
Go to MX Player, in the settings go to audio and then uncheck the 'system volume' option.
Now if you put the system volume low and also MX Player volume low you got an extremely low volume for your music and you also have a pretty wide range to play with it at the low volume range.
