I am thinking of purchasing this TP2 battery charger on ebay cuz i heard you can use the tp2 batteries in the eris.. has anyone used this before? thanks

Is your OEM battery messed up? If that's why you're buying a new one, it should be covered under the one-year warranty.

If that's not the reason, just make sure the jack for the Eris is the same wattage as the charger, or else you'll end up frying your charge port.

i wouldnt say messed up, it lasts about 12 hours, if i only talk on it for about an hour total and send a few texts, no web browsing. so maybe it is messed up? when i bought the phone i needed to use it, i used it till it died then put it on a car charger off and on until i made it home. im sure that wasnt the best thing to do, but i had no choice. i mainly wanted one as a back up and just buy a battery charger and rotate the two batteries out. cant decide if i should buy the tp2 battery for my eris, not convinced it will fit.

and i have emailed verizon about the 1 year warranty and they told me it didnt cover batteries... i figured it was some bull
