there are already a number of different apps that turn the DI into a media server that will let you stream media from your DI to your PS3 over WIFI.

    Twonky comes to mind.

I dont' know its been years since anything sony has impressed me. From tvs to stereos they've been known as blah and not cutting edge in terms of technology or offerings. The only thing they've gotten right in sometime is the ps3. Their psp platform is all but done with. And their cell phones aren't anything special. Even their mp3 players leave alot to be desired. I'm not too optimistic on their partnership. If anything google might have benefitted by going strickly with HTC for hardware development, but thats my opinion.

Side Note: This is my 1000 post!!! Whoo hoo!

I'd love PS3 and Dinc to play nice with eachother, stream vids and music off my PS3 from anywhere like I can do with PSP.

THIS. Remote Play app would be absolutely awesome. Can someone say PS3 bluetooth keyboard and bluray remote app?
