    Hi guys,

I'm from Portugal and I've recently bought the new Xperia X10.

I've got, though, some questions and doubts about the it.
    Can anybody help me?

    Thanks a lot!

Hello JuB, welcome to Android Forums.

I've moved your question out of the News area and put it in the Xperia X10 forum for you where other users of that device can help you once you ask specific questions about any issues you're having with your new phone.

    Hi.

To be fair, I don't think they get what it is you're asking, and nor did I?

    Ok, you're right. My fault!
My problem is related to mms and data services. I'll do my best to make myself clear: I think my device does automatic updates whenever I turn on the mms & data connection. Do you know I can I stop this; 'cause I had the Xperia X1 before and the device turned on the mms data connection when I received or sent an mms or when I tried to open an internet browser. And this one must work differently, 'cause my money is decreasing every hour...

    Can anybody help me?
    Thanks

You'll have to turn it on or off manually I'm afraid.

If you're loosing money every hour, try disabling auto updates in apps running in the background, that use data. Such as facebook etc

Although, the Xperia X10 is an 'Always Connected' phone, so I would suggest you purchase a data plan from your carrier, it would save you alot of money

Settings - Wireless Controls - Mobile Networks

I use SwitchPro Widget so I can do it from my home screenbut there are other similar apps.
