SoundLogic XL and booting off the SDCARD

I'm looking at purchasing a SoundLogic XL.
It is a android tablet/keyboard combo that can be used as either a netbook or a tablet. The keyboard must be blue-tooth.

Does anyone know what processor and chipset this unit has?

I'm looking for a self booting android that can be ran entirely off the standard 16GB SDCARD and totally bypass the standard setup. Sort of what is done in CM7 and the Nook Color.

I'd first like to totally backup the units existing system to a image file that can self replace the default factory firmware if and then needed.
