I've noticed a special ringtone that is used when your SD card is mounted to your PC. I like it, and would like to use it for my default ringtone, but it doesn't seem to be an option, nor can I find it anywhere in the file system. Also, when I asked the folks at HTC where the file was located, they conveniently dodged my question and and told me how to add new ringtones to my SD card. (not surprised). Any knowledge here would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had the same question and it went nowhere so I set it up and recorded it. Its a pretty cool sound by itself but I added a little echo to it. I think its great and I use it as my main ring tone.

Wow, I want that ring tone. If anyone knows where to get it, please let me know, and thanks in advance...

Thank you for that. I was thinking about the option of recording it...just never quite got the motivation to get it set up to record. Thanks a bunch for that! Do you think you could also post the original file if you still have it?(without echo) Thanks!

All I did was follow the dude's link that he posted... then I saved the file and just attached it to my post here. You might want to ask him, all I did was help by making it bluntly obvious on how to grab it.
