Speed Testing for N1

I want to test internet speed for my N1 using Wifi and 3G.
What is the best way to measure internet speed?

If you have done your speed testing, what results did you get?

I got 601 Down and 431 Up using 3G in Metro Atlanta Area

Mine varies from 563-919 Down, 256-512 Up - Florence, Alabama

It's usually closer to 600up/300down on most tests but I have had spikes where it would creep up to the 900/500 range.

I am particularly happy with the Wifi speed on this phone vs the myTouch 3G. On the myTouch I could barely get 1200 down at it's fastest (usually it would hang around 900-1000). This phone on the same wifi connection is always well over 4000 down.

My "best out of 3" for 3G is 923 kbps down / 393 kbps up. For wifi, I get 8255 kbps down / 4186 kbps up.

On Verizon, My Droid does 1236 kbps down / 635 kbps up. For wifi, it gets 6763 kbps down / 1803 kbps up.
