Confirmation from O2 Ireland that the Galaxy Spica is getting Android 2.0 here (Post #18, it's from an O2 staffer). No date yet unfortunately, but still good news

    As 2.0 supports multi-touch, will i5700 be multi-touch capable?

If you read the thread properly, you'll see in post 18 that the O2 staffer says that they spoke to Samsung and have confirmed they will be upgrading to 2.0, date TBC

It was confirmed in Swedish magazine "Mobil" from Samsung that there will be a 2.0 release in March!

Does the 2.0 release enable multitouch on the Spica? This greatly affects my decision to get the LG Eve or this.

    A though...

Why the Samsung Galaxy i7500 is not included in the 2.0 update plan ????

May be that i7500 is a lower HW platform than i57000
