I have a HTC Desire which is now UNLOCKED as the unlocking code was supplied to me from T-Mobile (upon request). Anyone have any idea how to REMOVE the T-Mobile "splash screen" (branding) when the HTC is booted up?

    Yes. Debrand it.

Make a Goldcard from an SD and then install a Generic rom. I did it to remove the small t-mob bits.

Where would you get a Goldcard from? Do you have any step-by-step instructions?

You can do it with root access as well.

I'm sure they will become available eventually. But not at the mo. Why would you want to? You will get updates much later than a generic branded phone.
