Help Sprint 442 update LAAAG

If you got an OTA (over the air) update, bring it to your nearest Sprint store. If they can't fix it, ask where their tech support in your area is located, so you can bring the phone there and get it fixed. They're responsible for firmware they put into your phone.

If you downloaded it and installed it yourself, you're on your own. Find a stock 4.2x (SamMobile probably has one for your phone - put the model NUMBER, not "S4", in the search box) and reflash it. (You could also use 4.3, but with the bugs that have been reported for 4.3, even in the S4, I'd rather have an older working ROM than a newer buggy one.)

If it were att with the locked boot loaders, you could never go backwards to an earlier version. Is Sprint (including newest 4.4 version*) different?

(* just because last version was unlocked doesn't mean new version is)
