sooo what is sprint doing at the MWC, nice to hear about the update but really i hope that is not the biggest news they have... ONE new phone ANNOUNCEMENT would be acceptable to say the least, even just a teaser, we know EVERY OTHER carrier is getting more droids for a FACT, what about sprint?

does anyone know if they have an announcement at MWC? or even some good exibits that show SOMETING promising droid wise besides two already know updates?

Ummm, carriers dont have press conferences at MWC, only manufacturers. Who at MWC confirmed new phones for other carriers?

And lets not forget that MWC is put on by the GSMA. You have to figure most of the devices announced will be GSM models.

I wasn't expecting any big reveals from Sprint at MWC for this very reason.

We're waiting for CITA for Sprint announcements. Sprint makes their announcements generally in the summer.

I don't count the Kyocera Echo as any kind of an announcement. That was more like, "Come see David Blain do some cool stuff, and oh yeah, by the way, we're going to try to sell this Kyocera. Whatever."

I was mistaken. I look forward to CITA then!

At CTIA, Sprint better be revealing more about Wimax deployment and broader coverage. I could care less about more phones and better phones from Sprint or any of the carriers until they provide full coverage where the phones are useful. It's actually getting ridiculous, and the features are a distraction from not getting the coverage.

Wimax is supposedly fully deployed in my area and it's still spotty. Also the lack of building penetration makes it mostly useless. I really want a fix for this.
