I'm having trouble finding a way to root my Sprint Galaxy S3 4.1.1 using my Macbook Air. Any links? I tried looking over at XDA etc. Thanks!!

If the mac is proving to be a problem, and you need windows, have you looked into emulating windows to see if that works?

I haven't considered that until you just now mentioned it. I used to have an iPhone and was implemented into Apple's ecosystem until I got an Android. Now I'm looking into what I can do with a rooted phone.

But the reason I haven't put any Windows programs on my Mac is because I was only using Apple programs. Perhaps it's time to break free and consider your suggestion.
