Bought a Sprint version of the Galaxy Tab last night at Bestbuy & called Sprint just now to add insurance to it. Guess what? They don't offer insurance for it!! WTF? You can get insurance on a $20 cellphone but not a $600 tab? Unbelievable.

Yeah none of the carriers are offering it. You cna however include it under home owner's or renter's insurance from my understanding.

T-Mobile offered and added insurance to my Tab. They couldn't do it in the initial sale, but after the first transaction was complete, he was able to go back and add insurance.

Best Buy can also do insurance - which includes accidental damage, but I have no first-hand experience with Best Buy's insurance stuff.

Nonetheless, I remember it was something like $109.99 for 1 year of coverage. And $149.99 for 2-years. Has to be paid upfront, unfortunately.
