This thread is getting off topic FAST! Post anything about 4.2 ROM's here.
I was still on this ROM until my phone decided to break. I loved it but then again I have yet to try out a 4.2 ROM.
Jellybean 4.2 has been Sourcerized!!!
please read the download page as there is a big change between 4.1 and 4.2. The most glaring is the need for an updated recovery, either twrp or cwm.
Already running it and loving it
From Team Sourcery....
We wish you all a safe and Happy Holidays
I'm trying to help my brother download this but I am having problems getting the md5's to match. 55ac49552e927b89b97e1ff463e8d0b1 is what is listed on the forum website from the link in the first post. b4968112bdb29455e89169dceb767302 is what I keep coming up with on both the device and multiple pcs.
Thanks in advance!
Yours matches the file I downloaded. Flash away!
Thanks. We'll get on it
FYI, we have added in the themed dialers back into the Themed Apps list.
available options - Blue - Blue 2 - Colorful - Fire - Fire 2 - Gold - Jeans - Jelly X - OrangeGrey - Rainbow 2 - Red3D - Silver - Sketch - Small Balls - Vico - White - White 2
Anyone else having the MMS issue (no MMS) on the 4.3 update? Been looking fit a fix but haven't seen anything.
No issues whatsoever.
Update profile and prl
Also turn off auto retrieve in message settings and make sure you have 3g data toggled on when you send and receive MMS.
Then you have to download the picture manually when you get them.
Tried that, didn't help. Also tried clearing cache/dalvic and fixing permissions.
I'll give this a shot. Weird because this is the first time it's happened. There were others on xda who mentioned this issue but do far it hasn't been fixed.
It's hard to tell on the quick settings tile whether 3g data is on or off. Long press on "sprint" to be sure mobile data is toggled on. I use the power toggle widget because I think the quick settings tiles are a mess.
Found a fix using gosms. Nothing else would work. Weird.
Hey slyd, do the tile toggles light up for you? Mine turn blue when on and grey'd out when off.
When I have WiFi on, the sprint tile is always blue even if the mobile data is toggled off. I have to long press on the sprint tile to get to the mobile data toggle.
I have MMS, never tried over Sprint's network though. Are you trying to send them on wifi or 3G?
You can't send an mms on Wi-Fi only. You have to have 3g data on..
I'll ask this to be merged into the main thread, later, but I just HAD to tell folks about this new experimental sourcery rom that will likely become the next release really soon.
The entire experience feels zippy to me.... tight and clean, which is different for me. Usually when a lot of stuff is added it tends to be at the cost of performance. Not this rom. It screams.
Gadgets. Lots and lots of new toy gadgets! Let me list a few:
1) rotating lockscreen carousel!
2) t-mobile theme engine
3) Of course, there are sourcery themes
4) Tablet UI mode
5) Settings control dual panel
6) volume panel (not new)
7) show ime switcher (that's not new)
8) lockscreen weather, calendar time, changable weather and icons
9) torch, nav bar toggle, screenshot, airplane mode options all on power menu
10) swipe between notification bar and power widget bar (waaay cool)
11) longpress to unlock lockscreen
12) see through to app behind lockscreen
13) custom kernel that just rocks. Set at 1200 it's ziptastic!
There's just so much more and I'm too tired to continue, but I wanted to put this up because it add significant experience level to our phone. I recommend it highly. Also, guys, the dev worked hard and sleepless nights on this one. Reward him and his team, k? He deserves it.
***This version is only avaialble if you installed the patch for 4.3. After installation, you'll find the rom download in the experimental section of the toolbox that comes with the rom****
Thanks for the heads up Steven, I'll merge it for you once it sits for a bit.
I've been having trouble downloading it. I will have to come back with my thoughts once I can actually try it.
Dirty flash or full wipe?
I did dirty and everything worked fine except for the fact that I forgot to get the new gapps so my keyboard broke and I had to restore my backup.
