Guide to rooting Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE (SCH-L300)
Download victory_root_linux.tar.gz
Copy to Home Folder
Extract to Home Folder ({/home/{youruser/})
Open Terminal
Change Directory to Home Folder {cd ~/}
type "ls" (to list contents of /home/{youruser/ so you can verify that folder: "victory_root_linux" exists
Change Directory to "victory_root_linux" {cd victory_root_linux}
type "ls" (to list contents of folder)
verify that these files are there:
root
adb
su
Superuser.apk
debugfs
debugfsinput
apk-tools-0.14.tar.gz
If all is well continue on to the next step
type "./root"
read the text (maybe you will learn something)
after a few minutes your device should be rooted
