Droid Dog reported a square Motorola Droid.

The phone, which looks like the Nokia 7705 Twist, will have 2.1 and MotoBlur.
    Specs are unknown.

That's truly ugly and useless. MotoBlur? Ugh.

I was referring to the simplicity of the design of the device compared to current android devices.

    Would you buy this?
Or would you shoot for something else, such as a Desire or EVO 4G?

I've seen designs like this before with multiple carriers and they seem to be in the hands of the younger crowds, mainly because of the lower price.
Lower price = more simple device, nothing to fancy.

I've seen girls with the Sprint Lotus, which is a clamshell square phone. The Nokia,I've seen a couple of times. It's guiding towards the younger/female crowd. Simple features and nothing too complicated. Not to mention that the younger crowd (especially the girls) love social apps.
