Help standby/power button doesnt work

i bought the evo a few weeks after it came out and its always had a problem with the power button. i was told that it would be replaced but at the time the evo was at such a high demand i had to wait. so in that time the button worked great and i forgot about it. well no its to the point that i cant even get it out of standby without using the usb cable. and i dont have the 30 days on it anymore or insurance

has anyone else had that problem?

Take it to a corporate sprint repair center. Your phone has a one year warranty that covers hardware defects like this. They will either fix it or give you a replacement phone.
